PROFILE

Wayne began carving over 25 years ago.  While owning a business and raising two children he carved when he had time.  In 2014 Wayne retired.  This extra time allowed him to focus on taking his caricature carving to the next level.  Wayne enjoys watching the transformation of a block of wood to a one of a kind carving.  One of the perks of carving is the friendship and family atmosphere of the carvers.  Wayne enjoys bringing new people into the craft and helping them explore carving, making new friends, and the knowledge and fulfillment of creating art.  He was been award the Caricature Carvers Of America Award 2012, 2013, and 2017.  The biggest acompulishment  was being voted in to the Caricatures Carvers of America in 2017.Wayne resides in Sparta, IL with his wife Pat.  He is the father of two children Amy Laramore and Aaron (Shayna)Laramore and grandfather to Will, Jake , Kaleb, and Addison
